Indonesia's Foreign Exchange Reserve Up US$1 Billion

Jakarta, Dec 11 (ANTARA) - Indonesia`s foreign exchange reserves reached US$11.29 billion by the end of November, or an increase of almost US$1 billion in a month. By the end of October in the same year, the country`s foreign exchange reserves were recorded at US$110.30 billion, the monetary report of Bank Indonesia (BI) said here on Tuesday. The foreign exchange reserves were calculated on the concept of International Reserve and Foreign Currency Liquidity (IRFCL) based on current prices with the format of Official Reserve Asset (ORA). The report also said the position of primary money in circulation by November 30 totaled Rp647.98 trillion , as against Rp648.11 trillion a month earlier. The bank reserve funds at Bank Indonesia totaled Rp221.98 trillion by the end of November down from Rp222.13 trillion by October 31.
