Industry and Commerce Minister receives Dubai Ruler

Dubai, May 4 (BNA): Industry and Commerce Minister Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani received at Bahrain's pavilion in the Arabian Travel Market Expo Dubai Ruler Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The minister is leading Bahrain's delegation to the exhibition which kick-started today. Twenty parties from the tourism sector, including five-star and four-star hotels, tourism resorts, travel and tourism agencies and the national carrier Gulf Air, are participating in the event with a 250 sqm pavilion. The four-day expo is one of the biggest exhibitions in the Middle East with more than 85 countries from all over the world taking part. Statistics of 2014 revealed that more than 23,000 visitors visited it, a figure expected to rise by 12% this year.
