Industry Ministry organises cheap goods fair

BANGKOK, May 24 (TNA) - In an attempt help consumers to cushion high cost of living and to also assist manufacturers in selling goods, the Industry Ministry will organise a four-day goods fair at factory prices, said Atchaka Sibunruang, permanent secretary for Industry. Starting this Thursday, the fair will be held at the ministry headquarters from 10.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m., said Mrs. Atchaka. More than 300 manufacturers from nationwide will participate in the fair and prices of the consumer and durable goods will be between 20 to 30 per cent cheaper than market prices, she added. (TNA)
