Injaz and Bourse Pact to Train Youth on Stock Markets

Doha, April 26 (QNA) - A new pact between Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) and Injaz Qatar will spur stock and financial markets knowledge among youth and students in Qatar. The two entities signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate in education, training and community development. QSE Chief Executive Officer Rashid bin Ali Al-Mansoori, and founder and chairperson of Injaz Qatar Sheikha Hanadi bint Nasser Al-Thani signed the MoU. As per the MoU, youth and students will join QSE training course in investments, stocks and securities. The pact also encourages QSE experts to volunteer and impart stock and financial markets knowledge to school and university students at events organized by Injaz Qatar. Speaking after the signing of the MoU, Sheikha Hanadi said, "Injaz's mission and vision revolves around the linking between educational outputs and the investment market, and since QSE is the cornerstone of the national investment market providing diversified investment opportunities. This MoU will help enhance financial and investment practices among youth." Al-Mansoori welcomed the MoU for close co-operation with Injaz Qatar. He said this QSE move is part of achieving Qatar National Vision 2030, and the responsibility to develop the economy and human resources by educating the next generation of youth and building a prosperous society.
