Interior Min. Highlights Govt Plan To Create Economic Epic

Tehran, Aug 18, IRNA – Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli said on Saturday that the new government is determined to create an economic epic in order to alleviate sufferings of people. He made the remarks in a ceremony to undertake his post and bid farewell with the former interior minister. He said that the interior ministry will endeavor to implement policies of the government and the Islamic system. To attain the goal ministry counts on experienced and eligible staffers, he said. The Supreme Leader designated the current Iranian year as the Year of Political and Economic Epic. The political epic was materialized by the magnificent presidential election in which 72.7 percent took part despite earlier signals that they will not go to the polls./end
