Investment opportunities highlighted

Manama, Apr. 16 (BNA): Second deputy chairman of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), Abdulhameed Al-Kooheji, alongside several board members have received a business delegation from the Philippines headed by the Undersecretary of the Philippines Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Ruth Castelo. While hailing the Philippines President’s official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain and the deep-rooted relation between both friendly countries, the meeting discussed stepping-up business and stimulating partnership between both business communities. Investment opportunities were at the core of the meeting’s discussions, which underlined promising sectors such as ICT, construction, tourism, Halal food, renewable energy, and health and medical services. The meeting also deliberated about the business and investment climate and privileges to foreign investors.
