Iranˈs Economic Bottlenecks Will Be Removed Through Rationality : Ambassador

Nahavand, Jan 6, IRNA – Iranˈs Ambassador to Moscow Mehdi Sanaee said on Sunday that the countryˈs economic bottlenecks can be removed by adopting rational policies with reliance on domestic capabilities. The Islamic Republic of Iran experienced political, economic and scientific breakthrough in the past three decades and was quite successful to set regional and global standards, he said. Comparing Iranˈs political status with other countries in the region, he said that Iran is one of the most democratic countries in the region and the recent presidential election served as a good proof to support the claim on existence of democracy in Iran. Despite the remarkable advances in many fields, the country suffered a lot from international pressures as well as mismanagement of the former government, Sanaee said. There is no doubt that reduction of oil output in recent years has created many problems requiring vigilance and rationality to thwart the economic bottlenecks. He vowed to make his best during his tenure as Iranˈs ambassador to Russia./end
