Iranˈs Foreign Trade Exceeds $94b: Report

Tehran, April 9, IRNA – Iranˈs international trade stood at 94.682 billion dollars during the last Iranian calendar year (ended on March 20, 2013), it was reported Monday. According to a report by Iranˈs Customs Administration during the said period, the amount of the countryˈs non-oil exports stood at 41.334 billion dollars. The volume of commodities exported in the period stood at 78,715,000 tons, showing a one-percent growth compared to the figure for the correspondent period the previous year. The goods were exported to Iraq, China, the UAE, Afghanistan and India. Meanwhile during the last Iranian year, some 53.348 billion dollars worth of various goods were imported to the country from the UA, China, The Republic of Korea, Turkey and Switzerland.
