Iranˈs Frontiersmen To Export Fuel To Neighboring Countries

Tehran, June 1, IRNA - Managing Director of the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company (NIOPDC) Mostafa Kashkouli said here Thursday that the plan for selling fuel to frontiersmen aimed at exporting to neighboring countries has begun. Speaking to IRNA, Kashkouli said that the plan started from Hirmand and Saravan townships in the southeastern province of Sistan-o-Baluchestan. Citing the plan as a practical way for creating job opportunities and making money for the Iranian boarder dwellers, he said that such measure would play a pivotal role in meeting the neighboring countriesˈ demands for fuel and reducing the menace of fuel smuggling. As per the plan, some 12m liters of gasoline will be sent to Hirmand and Saravan townships per months, he said./end
