Iran, Azerbaijan Discuss Expansion Of Economic Co-op

Baku, June 19, IRNA – Iranˈs 8-member high-ranking economic delegation headed by Deputy Industry, Mine and Trade Minister Mojtaba Khorotaj arrived in Baku on Wednesday morning to take practical steps for the expansion of economic cooperation. The visit of the Iranian economic delegation takes place at the invitation of Azeri Unprecedented Minister Kamaleddin Heydarov. Iranˈs economic delegation held its first working meeting with a group of local businessmen at the presence of Iranian Ambassador to Baku Mohsen Pakayeen. Iranˈs deputy industry minister said that the main purpose for the visit of Iranian delegation is to follow up the agreement between the two countries as well as holding talks with representatives of companies and executive bodies in a bid to develop investment and trade activities./end
