Iran To Broaden Ties, Co-op With Belarus: Envoy

Moscow, Feb 2, IRNA – Iranˈs Ambassador to Belarus, Mohammad-Reza Sabouri, said on Friday that Tehran is determined to broaden economic cooperation with Belarus. According to the statement, released by Iranˈs embassy in Moscow, Sabouri made the remarks in a meeting with a group of businessmen and industrialists. Highlighting grounds for expansion of mutual relations and cooperation, the diplomat said grounds are well prepared for expansion of economic cooperation between the two countries and the role of the two sidesˈ private sectors to this end is significant. To attain the goals, the Iranian businessmen and entrepreneurs should have a precise and transparent plan to secure their investments in the future, he said. Success in international business has its own rules and regulations and the Iranian businessmen should observe them fully to attain their goals, he pointed out. The art of businessmen is to win customersˈ trust through timely, real and tangible programs, he said. Iranˈs embassy is to render no efforts to fully back Iranian and Belarusian businessmen to broaden economic cooperation in both countries, he said. Iran calls for expansion of all-out economic relations with Belarus, he underlined. Both sides should help remove existing red tapes which impede expansion of mutual economic cooperation, said the ambassador. The Iranian ambassador in the meeting proposed formation of a business union, comprising the Iranian nationals residing in Belarus.
