Iran-China To Hold Joint Co-op Commission Session Soon

Tehran, Feb 2, IRNA – The 15th Iran-China Joint Cooperation Commission session is to be held in Tehran from February 22-23, an Iranian official with the Organization of Investment and Economic and Technical Aid of Iran said on Saturday. Sadeq Akbari said that the session has been planned in coordination with Foreign Ministry, Iranian embassy in Beijing and Chinese embassy in Tehran. Iranˈs Minister of Economy has invited Chinese Commerce Minister Gao Hucheng to participate in the meeting, Akbari said. The joint cooperation commission session is aimed at signing a road map for Iran-China cooperation in different areas of economy, including, industry, mine, oil, gas, petro chemistry, communication and information technology, financial and banking sector, transport and energy, the official said. He added that the Chinese commerce minister will meet and confer with a number of high-ranking Iranian economic and political officials during his upcoming visit to Tehran./end
