Iran Company To Export 400,000 Tons Of Iron Bars, Rods To Iraq

Tehran, June 26, IRNA -- Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) says Isfahan Foundry will export 400,000 tons of iron bar and rods to Iraq annually. IMIDRO said the bulk of products will be exported after necessary coordination is made with Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade. Director of Sales and Marketing of Isfahan Foundry Mansour Yazdizadeh said tough regulations are in effect which restrict export of steel products to Iraq but his company has managed to overcome the barriers and receive for the first time the BV quality certificate, thus exporting the products to Iraq. The official said meeting domestic needs is the top priority of IMIDRO./end
