Iran To Extend All-out Support To IDB, ECO TDB: Minister

Mashhad, Khorasan Razavi prov, IRNA – Finance Minister Seyyed Shamsaddin Hosseini said that Iran will extend all-out support to Islamic Development Bank (IDB) and ECO Trade Development Bank (TBD) in line with their development. Addressing a ceremony marking the start of executive operations and exchange of documents on projects using IDB and ECO TDB facilities, he added that Iran has been a member of IDB since 25 years ago. In view of its attitude towards development of Islamic states, Iran has turned into one of the biggest shareholders of the bank and now it is the third biggest shareholder, he said. Hosseini further noted that Iran is one of the countries playing a crucial role in attracting resources for infrastructural fields.
