Iran, High Quality Caviar Exporter

Tehran, Dec 2, IRNA -- Head of Iran Veterinary Organization affiliated to Ministry of Agriculture Jihad Mohsen Dastoor said on Saturday Iranian status has been acclaimed by European Union food standard authority as high quality caviar exporter. He said after months of efforts and consultations with EU Veterinary and Food Organization (EU FVO) officials, the process of Iranian sturgeon breeding was acclaimed by respective authorities of the EU. Dastoor said his organization predicts one ton Iranian caviar production this year, the majority of which will be exported to international customers all over the world./end
