Iran-India Plan To Develop Farzad B Gas Field : Oil Min.

Tehran, June 2, IRNA – Oil Minister Rostam Qasemi says that Tehran and New Delhi have held constructive talks on the development of Farzad B gas field in the Persian Gulf. Talking to reporters on the sidelines of the 163rd OPEC meeting, he referred to the desirable results of Iran-India talks during his three-day visit to New Delhi and said that the details of the talks will be revealed by the joint Iran-India expert team within three months. Based on a report by the Oil and Gas Information Dissemination Network, the volume of gas in Farzad B gas field has been put at 21.680 trillion cubic feet, of which 12.800 billion cubic feet can be extracted. Responding to a question whether Iran will sell its crude at discount to create incentive among it customers, he said that the country will sell crude at the international prices. Asked if the sanctions have had impact on Iranˈs oil exports, Qasemi said, ˈWe will continue to sell crude as before.ˈ/end
