Iran Min. Welcomes Foreign Investments In Agriculture Sector

Tehran, May 28, IRNA – Minister of Agriculture Jihad Mohamoud Hojjati said Iran enjoys appropriate grounds to host foreign investments in agriculture sector. He made the remark in a meeting with a number of French industry owners and economic activists visiting Iran. He said his ministry attaches importance to absorbing investments needed for promotion of agricultural industries according to the international standards. The minister further noted that existing laws in Iran prepare an apt ground for foreign investors to enter business in the country, adding that their activities will be supported by the Iranian authorities in all possible ways./end
