Iran Moving Towards Normalizing Economic Ties With World Countries

Tehran, Jan 28, IRNA – Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said on Tuesday that Iran was moving towards normalizing its economic ties with the world in the wake of the nuclear agreement with the P5+1. Addressing the 38th meeting of the representatives of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce here, Araqchi evaluated the Geneva deal made by Iran and the world Sextet (US, Britain, Russia, France and China plus Germany) as a positive achievement which should be properly appreciated. He noted that following the nuclear deal many western and eastern countries are expressing willingness to have a stronger presence in Iranˈs market. Pointing to an upcoming visit to Iran of a 150-strong French delegation, Araqchi said the world countries are coming to the conclusion that pressures for cutting economic ties with Iran are easing./end
