Iran Petrol Production Capacity To Rise By 1m Liters : Official

Bandar Abbas, Hormuzgan Province, June 25, IRNA – Iranˈs petrol production capacity will be increased by one million liters when Lavan Oil Refinery development project becomes operational, an oil official said here Tuesday. Mohammad Ali Davar, Managing director of Lavan Oil Refinery Company, said the project includes 14 development and optimization projects. He added that the project, that will be inaugurated by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad later today, is aimed at increasing the Lavan Oil Refinery filtration capacity corresponding to Euro-4 standard. By putting into operation of the project, the production capacity of liquid gas at the refinery will reach 210 tons per day from the previous 30 tons, said the official. Over rls 370 billion plus euros 77 million have been invested on the project, Davar added./end
