Iran Plays Pivotal Role In Global Trade Arena: Road Minister

Tehran, Jan 28, IRNA - Minister of Road and Urban Development Abbas Akhoundi said here on Tuesday that Iran can play a pivotal role in global trade arenas, thanks to its geographical situation in the region. He made the remarks during inauguration ceremony of the Second International Marine Exhibition in Tehran. The minister said Iran has vast borderlines in the Sea of Oman, the Persian Gulf and Arvand river, underlining the need for making use of such opportunities for development of its marine transportation.
