Iran To Resume Importing Turkmen Gas: MP

Tabriz, E.Azarbaijan prov, Sept 10, IRNA – Iran will resume importing gas from Turkmenistan in the near future, lawmaker Alireza Monadi said Tuesday. Monadi told IRNA that during a recent visit to Ashgabat by Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani, the Turkmen officials agreed to resume exporting gas to Iran. He praised interaction between the Parliament and the government in this regard, saying the Parliament is ready to constructively cooperate with the government to solve the problems in all areas./end
