Iran-Russia Economic Ties Growing: Deputy Min.

Tehran, April 8, IRNA – Iran-Russia economic relations are developing, Deputy Minister of Industries, Mines and Trade, Mehdi Karbasian said on Monday. In an interview with IRNA, he said “There are good potentials for boosting cooperation between Tehran and Moscow.” He called signing of a new contract between Iranian Industries Development and Renovation Organization and Russian oil and gas construction company (Stroytransgaz) as an example of growing bilateral ties. Under the contract, Stroytransgaz will render engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services to produce alumina from nepheline syenite in a mine at Sarab, East Azarbaijan province./end
