Iran seizes 1.5 million litres of smuggled fuel

Azerbaijan, Baku, Feb. 24 / Trend D.Khatinoglu/ Iranian Border Guards have seized 1.5 million various types of petroleum related products from January 21 to February 21, the Mehr News Agency quoted the deputy Iranian border guards chief Gen.Abbas Ataei as saying. He said that Iran has sized several vehicles, boats and tankers smuggling the fuel. Mr Ataei added Iranian border forces had detained 25 people who crossed the borders illegally during the aforementioned period.
