Iran-Serbia Should Seize Their Investment Opportunities: MP

Tehran, Dec 18, IRNA – Head of Iran-Serbia Parliamentary Friendship Group Iraj Nadimi said on Monday that Iran and Serbia should seize existing investment opportunities in both countries. He made the remarks in a meeting with Serbian Ambassador to Tehran Alexander Tacik on Monday. In the meeting, Nadimi expressed satisfaction with growing economic and commercial relations and cooperation between the two countries and said new grounds should be explored to this end. They called for expansion of political, economic and parliamentary relations and cooperation between the two sides, he said. Expansion of relations between the two sides' parliaments would leave positive impacts on relations between the two nations, he said. The Serbian ambassador, for his part, described Iran as a rich country in terms of culture and civilization and said the country is regarded as bridge connecting the East, West, South and North. There is no barrier on the way of expansion of all-out relations and cooperation between the two countries, he said./end
