Iran to set up exhibition in Turkmenistan late February

Tehran, Jan 24, IRNA – Iran's Great Industrial and Trade Exhibition will be held in Turkmenistan from February 25-27, in presence of Iranian and Turkmen industrial and trade groups. Organizer of the expo, Hassan Mortaji, said on Saturday that Iranian and Turkmen traders will attend a seminar concurrent with the exhibition considering Turkmen President's support for the exhibition and the common interest of the two governments in the field of oil, gas and petrochemicals, construction industries and energy, water and electricity industries, technical and engineering services, export of foodstuffs and agricultural projects and expansion of economic and industrial cooperation. He said that Turkmenistan is the only country engaged in barter trade with the Islamic Republic of Iran in the field of gas and goods and services. Meanwhile, a suitable opportunity is provided for Iranian and Turkmen economic activists, the organizers said. Iranian Embassy in Turkmenistan offered to provide assistance to the Iranian companies applied to take part in the exclusive exhibit.
