Iran, Slovenia to expand economic, trade cooperation

Tehran, April 27, IRNA – Iranˈs Ambassador to Slovenia Morteza Darzi Ramandi and Samo Hribar Milic, President and General Manager, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, on Saturday discussed ways to expand mutual economic and trade cooperation. They discussed future visits by officials of Iranian and Slovenian chambers of commerce and their trade delegations. Ramandi briefed the Slovenian official on potential grounds for mutual economic and commercial cooperation and said the capacity is far beyond the expectation and the atmosphere for bolstering is ripe. Hribar said that his country is eager to expand ties with Iran, in the economic, trade and commercial domains. He said Slovenian chamber of commerce also welcomes facilitation of relations between Iranian and Slovenian traders and enterprises. Meanwhile, the ambassador held separate meetings with Slovenian Speaker of Parliament Janko Veber, Director for International Cooperation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ales Cantarutti and foreign ministry officials and industry owners and the representatives of Slovenian companies. The ambassador discussed ways to develop parliamentary, economic and commercial cooperation. end
