Iran, Slovenia sign three cooperation documents

Tehran, Nov 22, IRNA – Iran and Slovenia signed three cooperation agreements on Tuesday in the presence of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and Slovenian President Borut Pahor. Iran's Deputy Economy Minister Mohammad Khazaie and his Slovenian counterpart Edvardo Puccio signed the cooperation document for development of economic cooperation. Slovenia deputy economy minister and Iran's Minister of Communications and Information Technology Mahmoud Vaezi signed also a cooperation document in the field of Information and communications technology (ICT). Meanwhile, Secretary-General of Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council (INIC) Saeed Sarkar and head of the Slovenia's institute for nano research Joseph Geocos signed another cooperation document in the field of Bionano. President Rouhani welcomed the Slovenian president at the Saadabad Cultural and Historical Complex in Tehran on Tuesday morning when Iranian capital was covered in its first snow. Heading a high-ranking politico-economic delegation, the Slovenian president arrived in Tehran on Monday afternoon and was welcomed by Energy Minister Hamid Chitchian at the airport. Iranian and Slovenian entrepreneurs and traders are expected to explore ways of developing ties between the two countries in a meeting on Tuesday. 1378/IRNA
