Iran, Slovenian economic activists may cooperate in a third country

Tehran, Nov 22, IRNA – Minister of Energy Hamid Chitchian said on Tuesday that Iranian and Slovenian economic activists may cooperate in a third country and their own countries as well. He made the remarks in Iran-Slovenia Joint Economic Commission in presence of Slovenian trade delegation. Chitchian said that Iran supports economic cooperation with Slovenia and made preparatory works to carry out joint venture investment projects. He said that Slovenia would cooperate with Iranian companies in the fields of industries including auto making industry, pharmaceutical industry, heavy machinery and manufacturing hydroelectric turbines. Iran-Slovenia Joint Trade Commission convened on Tuesday in presence of President Borut Pahor and Minister of Energy Hamid Chitchian as well as representatives from 50 Slovenian companies at Iran's Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mine and Agriculture. Meanwhile, three cooperation documents were signed in presence of presidents of Iran and Slovenia in the fields of economy, technology and Nano technology. Deputy Minister of Economic and Finance Mohammad Khazaei and Minister of Economic Development and Technology of Slovenia Zdravko Pocivalsek signed the agreement on economic cooperation. Document related to ICT were signed by Minister of Communication and Information Technology Mahmoud Vaezi and Zdravko Pocivalsek. Agreements about cooperation on science and Nano-technology were signed by Secretary General of Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council (INIC) Saeed Sarkar and head of Slovenian Institute for Nano Research Joseph Geocos. 1378/IRNA
