Iran-Turkey Mull Joint Investment In Agriculture

Tehran, May 26, IRNA – Iranˈs Agriculture Jihad Minister Sadeq Khalilian and visiting Turkish Minister of Food, Agriculture and Livestock Mohammad Mehdi Eker agreed on Sunday to prepare a platform for joint investment in agriculture during the current Iranian year. The two ministers stressed the necessity of implementing joint agricultural projects. They also agreed to facilitate partnership of private sectors of the two countries in agricultural projects. The two officials called for setting up specialized committees to pursue implementation of the agreements previously reached between the two countries and to remove obstacles in this regard./end
