Iran-Turkey-Pakistan Ink Accord On Fostering Trade Transactions

Ankara, Dec 1, IRNA – Iran, Pakistan and Turkey here on Friday evening inked an agreement on fostering and facilitating trade transactions, Head of Iran's Customs Administration Abbas Memarzadeh said. Talking to IRNA, Memarzadeh said the agreement was signed on the sidelines of the 'Development of the Silk Road Trade Conference' in Istanbul. Based on the agreement, the three countries have pledged to remove the existing obstacles in the way of facilitating their trade transactions, he said. On his meeting with Turkey's Customs and Trade Minister Hayati Yazici, Memarnejad stressed that the ways of enhancing bilateral ties were discussed. He noted that the two sides plan to increase bilateral trade to $20 billion annually./end
