Iranian and Singaporean Businessmen Interested in Economic Exchange with DPRK

Pyongyang, May 25 (KCNA) -- Foreign businesses, who are taking part in the 19th Pyongyang Spring International Trade Fair, expressed interest in economic exchange with the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. Amir Hossein Taghdisi, vice-president of the ShirinAsal Holding of Iran, told KCNA that he was pleased to attend the fair and was well aware of the economy and commercial situation of the DPRK through the trade fair. Noting he came to know lots of things through the visit to the DPRK, he hoped for close trade cooperation between the DPRK companies and his Holding. He said he will take part in the trade fair in the coming years, too. Edwin Lee of the Jentech Asia Pte Ltd., Singapore, said his company has already had trade relations with the DPRK companies. He expressed his intention to positively conduct the economic exchange in close contact with relevant units of the DPRK. -0-
