Iranian Company Successfully Re-installs South Pars Drowned Jacket

Tehran, July 29, IRNA – The drowned jacket of the phase 13 of South Pars gas field has been successfully installed, Managing Director of Iranian Sadra marine industrial company, Mehdi Etesam, said on Sunday. He told a press conference that the jacket had been drowned as a result of incident in February and operations for its re-installation worked out after climate conditions got normal. He said that the task was completed late Wednesday, adding that the jacket had been drowned due to unstable conditions in the sea bed. He added that all the phases of the operation were fulfilled solely by Sadra technicians and the domestically made equipment./end
