Iran's Economy Min. Off To Kazakhstan

Tehran, May 20, IRNA – Iran's Minister of Economy and Finance Ali Tayebnia departed for Kazakhstan, heading a delegation, to attend the 4th Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Ministerial Meeting on Finance and Economy, the seventh Astana Economic Forum and the second World Anti-Crisis Conference. A number of senior officials from 150 countries are to attend the seventh Astana Economic Forum slated for May 21-23 in the capital city of Kazakhstan. Tayebnia, who currently holds the rotating presidency of the 4th ECO Ministerial Meeting on Finance and Economy is to address the meeting as well. While in Kazakhstan, the Iranian minister is to hold separate talks with several senior officials of other countries on issues of mutual interests and ways to expand bilateral cooperation. Tayebnia is accompanied by Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance Behrouz Alishiri./end
