Iran's Parsian Co. processes 14 bcm gas

Tehran, Nov 2, IRNA - Nearly 14 billion cubic meters of natural gas have been processed in Parsian Gas Refining Company in the seven months ending October 22. Farshid Ebdali Dehdezi, managing director of the company, said on Saturday the refinery processed 24 billion cubic meters of natural gas last year, wrote Sunday's edition of 'Iran Daily'. “The company has the capacity to process 82 million cubic meters of natural gas every day,” he said. Huge gas reserves in Iran provide a considerable economic advantage to the country’s petrochemical industry, making it a powerful engine of economic growth and development, which currently contribute to some 45 percent of total non-oil exports.
