ISFIRE Magazine Named Malaysia's IBFIM 'Best Islamic Finance Publishing House 2015'

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 2 (Bernama) -- The London-based ISFIRE magazine has named Islamic Banking and Finance Institute Malaysia (IBFIM) the Best Islamic Finance Publishing House 2015. In a statement Thursday, IBFIM Chief Executive Officer, Dr Adnan Alias said the award was a recognition of the IBFIM Knowledge Management Centre's (KMC) strategy in offering publications and collections. "What makes us unique is that our wide range of research materials and references are used for scholar research and also as a reference for practical product development, which caters to professionals in Islamic finance," he said. Meanwhile, head of KMC, Mohd Zain Abdul Rahman, said the award showed that IBFIM's publications were recognised by regulators, practitioners and higher learning institutions. From February 2001, IBFIM was designated as an industry-owned institute dedicated to producing well-trained, high competence personnel and executives with the required talent in the Islamic finance industry. --BERNAMA
