Italian official predicts six percent increase in Iran-Lombardy trade exchange

Isfahan, Nov 14, IRNA - Deputy Governor General for Lombardy Province in Italy Fabrizio Sala predicted six percent rise of trade exchange between Iran and Lombardy in 2017. He made the remarks in a meeting with President of Isfahan University Houshang Talebi. The value of trade of exchange between Iran and Lombardy was up to 400 million Euros in 2015, the official added. He noted that Lombardy companies are active in fields of health and transportation infrastructure. Noting that there are six state, six private, and a polytechnic university in Lombardy, Sala called for boost of scientific and academic ties with Isfahan University. During the meeting, president of Isfahan University pointed to the cultural commonalities between Iran and Italy and voiced hope for increase of ties between Iranian and Lombardy universities. 1378/IRNA
