Jakarta To Host Asia's Biggest Theme Park Exhibition

Jakarta, Sept 11 (Antara) - Jakarta will host Asia`s biggest theme park exhibition "Fun Asia 2014" at the Jakarta Convention Center on October 10-12, organizing committee representative and Indonesian Family Recreation Association (ARKI) Chairman Taufik A. Wumu stated on Thursday. According to Taufik, the Fun Asia 2014 event will have 100 participants from various Asian countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, China, South Korea, Taiwan, and Japan and some European countries such as Germany, Italy, and England. "Participants will promote their products, and some will even bring along exhibits to give the visitors and potential investors an opportunity to try them," noted Taufik. Among the various products that will be displayed during the exhibition are Magic Bike, Slowly Swing, and Kids Train. Taufik explained that the Fun Asia exhibition was held for the first time in 1997. The idea to hold the theme park exhibition this year is due to the vast development of theme parks in some countries in Asia such as in Indonesia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, China, and Singapore, which attract thousands of visitors to these theme parks every year. He was optimistic that the upcoming theme park exhibition in Jakarta will offer an opportunity to potential investors to learn about the latest developments in Asia`s recreational parks.
