Jakarta Index Up

Jakarta, Aug 18 (Antara) - The Jakarta composite index (JCI) opened 5.43 points or 0.11 percent higher at 5,154.39 points on Monday. The index of 45 most liquid stocks at the Indonesian Stock Exchange gained 0.15 percent to 881.26 points. Meanwhile, rupiah lost value in the first minutes of transactions trading at the level of 11,681 per US dollar weakening from earlier level of 11,677 per dollar.
