BANGKOK, October 2 (TNA) - Japan is interested in technological investment for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Thailand. Thai Deputy Prime Minister Somkid Jatusripitak, who oversees economic affairs, told journalists of the information, after meeting with Akira Murakoshi, President of the Japanese Chamber of Commerce at Bangkok's Government House on October 1. Somkid said he briefed Thailand's updated political situation and measures to stimulate the national economy by injecting money into the grass roots, while also offering incentives for international industrialists to invest in Thai border areas.
