Joint committee to boost Iran-Tunisia ties

Tehran, Dec 3, IRNA - Establishment of a joint Iran-tunisia commercial committee will help expand economic ties, an Iranian official said. Fereydoun Forqani, the chairman of the Fars province’s Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mine and Agriculture made the comment in a meeting with a trade delegation from Tunisia in Shiraz on Monday. He added that the amicable ties shared between Iran and Tunisia provide good grounds for the province to boost economic cooperation with the Arab country. According to him, the provincial chamber held three meetings with the Tunisian delegation and the two sides are expected to sign several memorandums of understanding. Fars has great capacities, said Forqani, expressing hope both sides would increase their cooperation and trade volume./end
