Kvemo Kartli state governor to attend Azerbaijani-Georgian business forum

Baku, December 11, AZERTAC State Governor of Kvemo Kartli region Grigol Nemsadze will attend the Azerbaijani-Georgian business forum to be held by the Caspian European Club, and the third CEO Lunch Tbilisi. Both events will be held on December 15 in Georgia. Stressing the importance of events which are held within the framework of resuming of Caspian Energy Georgia’s activity, Grigol Nemsadze noted that this will give a momentum to much closer trade-economic cooperation and establishment of bilateral contacts. He expressed hope that Azerbaijani companies would actively operate also in the area of Kvemo Kartli region, thereby making it possible to take the cooperation between the private sector of Georgia and Azerbaijan to a new level. At the business forum held by the Caspian European Club, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Georgia Dursun Hasanov and State Governor of Kvemo Kartli region Grigol Nemsadze will meet with heads of companies-participants and reply to the questions which are of interest to companies. First Deputy Chairman of the Caspian European Club Telman Aliyev noted that the traditional CEO Lunch would be held after the business forum. Members of the Government of Georgia are expected to attend the CEO Lunch as honorary guests. According to him, the registration for the forum will be open till December 14 at http://www.caspianenergy.org/index.php/az/registration/item/133-azerbajdzhano-gruzinskij-biznes-forum Telman Aliyev has expressed his gratitude to the management team of PASHA Bank Georgia, a sponsor of CEO Lunch Tbilisi. He also recalled that the first CEO Lunch Tbilisi, attended by Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili, took place in Georgia on September 29 within the framework of the official ceremony dedicated to the resumption of activities of Caspian Energy Georgia. Telman Aliyev added that the 5th International Caspian Energy Forum would be held on 30 March 2018 with the support of the Governments of Georgia and Azerbaijan Republic, as well as with the support of the Caspian European Club. Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili, as well as Government members representing the economic bloc, is expected to attend the opening ceremony of the Forum. CEO Lunch Tbilisi is one of the key tools to establish a dialogue between the public and private sector of Georgia and Azerbaijan, as well as is an extra opportunity to communicate and establish new business contacts in informal surroundings. Telman Aliyev noted that Caspian European Club and Caspian American Club hold CEO Lunch, attended by top managers of the CEIBC member companies, every third Wednesday in Baku and last Friday of the month in Tbilisi. Caspian European Club was established in June 2002 with the support of the largest oil and gas companies operating in the Caspian-Black Sea region. His Excellency President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev is the Chairman of the Caspian European Club and Caspian American Club. Since the very establishment the Caspian European Club has promoted attraction of revenues from the oil industry for the development of the non-oil sector. Caspian European Club, which brings together more than 5,000 member companies and organizations, operates in 70 countries around the world and is active in supporting the dialogue between the government agencies and the private sector.
