Kyrgyz official calls for Iranˈs stronger presence in SCO Business Council

Dushanbe, April 1, IRNA – The rotating head of Business Council of Shanghai Cooperation Organization in a meeting with Iranian Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Ali Najafi on Saturday called for stronger presence of Iran in the council. Marat Sharshekeev who is also chairman of Kyrgyzstanˈs Chamber of Commerce hailed Iranˈs presence in important regional organizations, including Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) and Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and expressed hope to make use of Iranˈs capacities in SCO Business Council. The Iranian ambassador, for his part, referred to Iranˈs presence in SCO meetings and called for more active presence of Iranian businesspersons in SCO Business Council.
