Lack Of Strategy Main Problem Of Country: MP

Tehran, Oct 8, IRNA – Head of the Industry and Mines Commission of Majlis Reza Rahmani Tuesday said that South Korea and Iran had launched their industrial development plan together but today Korea is much more developed than Iran while Iran has the best market, resources, history and people. “The existing problem is due to lack of sound strategy.” “Iran has the best market, resources, history and nation but our problems arise from a lack of strategy. Therefore, the industry and mines sector should move on the basis of planning and strategy which has been repeatedly stressed by the Supreme Leader.” He said in the past year Iran imported $3billion worth of telecommunication equipment and about $2billion worth of mobile sets for which the present government cannot be blamed as it had been planned in the previous government. The parliamentarian further remarked that currently there is a need for $6 billion credit for implementation of mining projects. The MP called on the government to take prudent measures in this regard./end
