Lada returns to markets of Central Asia and Mongolia

SAMARA, October 15. /TASS/. Lada cars are returning to the markets of Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan, Avtovaz press center said Thursday. "Avtovaz and BIPEK AVTO start working together on the markets of the countries of the Central Asian region. The corresponding agreement was signed by the President of Avtovaz Bo Andersson and chairman of the Board of Directors of BIPEK AVTO-Asia Auto Anatoly Balushkin," the press release said. In the framework of the agreement, the group of companies BIPEK AVTO-Asia Auto is becoming the official distributor of Lada cars in the markets of Central Asia: Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan. According to the Avtovaz president Bo Andersson, the distribution network in export markets is being reformed by introducing unified high standards of customer service. The positive experience of the company’s partners working in Russia and Kazakhstan allows counting on successfully returning to the markets, where Avtovaz traditionally showed strong performance. In September 2014 the partners signed an agreement on joint activities in the markets of the Siberian and Urals federal districts of Russia. Joint venture "Asia Auto Ust-Kamenogorsk" was established as a part of the agreement. The company gained the right to distribute, sell and offers maintenance for Lada cars. Joint venture infrastructure in the territory of Russia currently consists of 15 auto centers in 10 cities. Currently the construction of the largest auto industry cluster is in progress at the Asia Auto Kazakhstan site in Ust-Kamenogorsk. Holding BIPEK AVTO-Asia Auto and Avtovaz participates in the project. Creating a full-cycle car production works will ensure the release of up to 120,000 cars a year. Read more
