Lebanese Carpet Businessmen To Sign Contracts With Iran

Beirut, Sept 26, IRNA -- A high ranking delegation of Lebanese carpet businessmen are to visit the 21st Iranian International Carpet Exhibition to sign an agreement with their Iranian partners on Persian carpet export to Lebanon. The exhibition underway since September 20 will work until September 28. The exhibit showcases Persian classic rugs and hand-woven carpets. Lebanon is the third Iranian trade partners in terms of export of Persian rugs and hand-woven carpets after Germany and United Arab Emirates. Lebanon imported about 35 million dollars of Iranian carpets in 2011. The Lebanese carpet businessmen established a society of Iranian carpet sellers in Beirut last year and they are to hold a permanent specialized Iranain carpet exhibit in Beirut./end
