LG Holds 28 Pct Share Of Indonesian Electronics Market

Yogyakarta, Dec 13 (ANTARA) - Electronics manufacturer PT LG Electronics Indonesia claims it held a 28 percent share of the Indonesian electronics market last year. "The figure is based on the result of a survey conducted by the independent research institute Growth from Knowledge (GfK)," President Director of PT LG Electronics Indonesia Kim Weon Dae said here on Wednesday. The business achievement confirmed the company as the electronics market leader in the country for a sixth straight year since 2006, he said. In Yogyakarta alone, LG held a 34 percent share of the local electronics market last year, he said. Kim Weon Dae who was in Yogyakarta to inaugurate LG Brand Shop expressed optimism that LG`s market share in the city will increase to 38 percent this year.
