Malaysia Airlines Offers New Year Low Fares To Celebrate PSC Equalisation

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 6 (Bernama) -- Malaysia Airlines will be introducing a big sales campaign beginning Jan 1, 2017, offering fares from as low as RM99 for domestic and ASEAN travels. (US$1 = RM4.44) This is in conjunction with the New Year celebration and in anticipation of the equalisation of the passenger service charge (PSC), which will see a reduction of RM35 (US$8.33) per passenger for ASEAN passengers at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). The fares come all-inclusive with meals and baggage allowance and no credit card charges, and is for travel period beginning Jan 1, 2017, Malaysia Airlines said in a statement here. "Our aim is to be the airline of choice to travel to, from and around Malaysia and ASEAN. With the revised PSC, we're able to bring people together with our competitive fares," said Malaysia Airlines Bhd Group Chief Executive Officer Peter Bellew. -- BERNAMA
