Malindo Air Introduces New Route To Phuket

From Fatin Nabihah Marzuki PHUKET, Oct 11 (Bernama) -- Malindo Air Friday introduced Phuket as its third route in Thailand with four times weekly service from Kuala Lumpur International Airport to Phuket International Airport. Malindo Air Public Relation and Communications Director, Raja Sa'adi Raja Amrin said the first inaugural flight to Phuket Thursday brought 89 passengers including its cabin crew. "Malindo Air has seen a significant growth and has expanded its regional footprint rapidly to provide more opportunities for business and leisure travellers alike. "Our services will foster the development of tourism industry for Malaysia and Thailand as we are able to provide connectivity from Thailand not just to Malaysia but also to Indonesia, Australia and India, which also within our network services," he said in a press conference here, Friday. The other two destinations in Thailand are Bangkok and Chiang Mai. Raja Sa'adi said for this new Phuket route, the introductory promotional one-way all inclusive fares for economy class would be start from US$31 (RM139) and business class from US$133 (RM599). -- BERNAMA
