Matrade Organises Maritime Mission To Dammam, Dubai

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 24 (Bernama) -- The Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (Matrade) is organising a specialised marketing mission on maritime industry to Dammam, Saudi Arabia and Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in conjunction with the Seatrade Middle East Maritime (SMEM) from Oct 25–31, 2014. "The highlight of this programme is the pre-arranged business meetings between the Malaysian delegation and potential clients," the national trade promotion agency said in a statement here Friday. In the 11 years since its launch in 2003, the SMEM has firmly established itself as the platform for the maritime players to do business, network and unveil new products and services. To be held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, this biennial event is the largest of its kind in the regional calendar and will provide gateways to Bahrain, Central Asia, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, the statement said. --BERNAMA
