Maybank Clinches 15 Awards In Three Countries

KUALA LUMPUR, May 19 (Bernama) -- Malayan Banking Bhd (Maybank), the Malaysia's largest financial services group and the leading banking group in South East Asia, clinched 14 awards at the Human Resources'(HR) Asia Recruitment Awards 2016 held in Hong Kong, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur recently. Maybank also won the Malaysia Best Employer Brand at the Malaysia Best Employer Awards event held earlier this month. In a statement Wednesday, Maybank said at the HR Asia Recruitment Awards held here on April 19, it received nine awards, including the Grand Award Winner for the Best In-House Corporate Recruitment Team for the second consecutive year. "We also bagged four awards in Singapore and a silver award in Hong Kong in the same award ceremonies held there. "Organised by Human Resources Magazine, the HR Asia Recruitment Awards is the only regional recruitment awards event dedicated to recognise and celebrate the very best recruitment and talent acquisition work in Asia," it said. Meanwhile, Maybank bagged the Malaysia Best Employer Brand at the Malaysia Best Employer Awards 2015-2016 held here on May 1. The awards ceremony was hosted by the World HRD Congress and Stars of the Industry Group and endorsed by the Asian Confederation of Business. It recognises organisations with outstanding human resource practices, policies and strategies, towards offering appealing value proposition to its employees and potential talents. Maybank Group Chief Human Capital Officer Nora Abd Manaf said the recognition acknowledged the bank's success in creating a workplace environment that was in line with their "GO Ahead" Employer Value Proposition (EVP).
